Creativity erupted at our location in Boxtel. 52 startups presented their innovative ideas โ and what ideas they were! From social designs such as a creative hospital jacket for children and a teddy bear with space for precious memories, to smart solutions such as a perfume pendant for people with perfume allergies. And practical finds: a bag with a slot for your bike charger, a holder for your festival coins, a bag with built-in can compartments โ creativity with a wink and a purpose.
The big winners were the students from Hands On, with a stylish tableware with subtle dents for more grip. Design and functionality in perfect balance.Outside in front of the main building, an atmospheric festival area with food trucks, blow-ups and activations formed the beating heart of the day. Inside, in the auditorium, a lively shopping street full of former students and young entrepreneurs selling their own products.
Students, teachers, caretakers, guest speakers and support staff were all bursting with entrepreneurial energy, and new connections were made in abundance during the networking drinks for alumni and entrepreneurs.
Guest speakers Geertje eek, Bram Veroude and Suzanne Eikmans inspired the visitors in the SintLucas hall with their personal entrepreneurial lessons. An extra shout-out to the crew of the Keuzedeel Ondernemerschap and initiator Vivian van Lier. These students arranged everything โ from reception to socials, drinks to technology โ with flair and teamwork. Thanks to them, the whole festival ran like clockwork.
